Cecile’s journey began with a passion for singing at the age of six, eventually leading her to become a dentist before pursuing music full time. Mighty, meanwhile, comes from a legacy of Filipino entertainers. A third-generation magician and sword swallower, his early life in a traveling circus shaped his dedication to the craft. Though he initially resisted the performer’s path, years of watching and learning from his father ultimately drew him in.
Their paths diverged after college—until fate (and Facebook) brought them back together 27 years later. Reunited through a single message and a lifetime of unspoken connection, they rekindled their love and joined forces as performers, forming the duo Cecile and Mighty.
Their appearance on America’s Got Talent brought them international recognition, showcasing their unique blend of elegance and edge to a national audience. While they joined the show for fun, the exposure elevated their careers and opened doors for performances across the U.S., Eastern Asia, the Middle East, and Europe.
Cecile and Mighty are not only artists but also mentors. Mighty currently teaches aspiring magicians—many of whom are young women—and includes them in live performances to develop their stage confidence. Cecile supports emerging singers with the same passion and grace.
